About Zoll Neuro Rehab And Wellness

Who Are We?

YOUR RECOVERY. OUR PRIORITY.

Zoll Neuro Rehab is a non-profit mobile outpatient physical therapy system that serves teens and adults affected by paralysis from neurological injury due to spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and other neurological conditions.

We recognize that clients are often restricted from their recovery journey due to insurance limitations, lack of specialized resources, and other burdens including transportation, and high costs of private pay care.  ZNR is not driven by funding, but are driven by our client’s recovery and we direct our care towards the patient’s condition, prognosis, and their progression.  We are here to provide a concierge type service to meet the patient where their needs are, be it at home, the gym, or at work.

ZNR will provide individualized one on one care using the principles of neuroplasticity to optimize outcomes and maximize independence.

Our goal is to restore your mobility, keep you moving and ensure your rehabilitation is effective, efficient and stress-free.

I have been a praciticng clinician for over 16 years and have offered the highest standards of treatment and patient care and am committed to my clients health and long-term wellness. Book your appointment with me today.

Assessment & Treatment

I take the time to understand the root of your problem in order to provide the best and most effective treatment possible.  I believe that Neuroplasticity is built through movement, weight bearing and continuous repetitive activity.  Through my many years of experience, I’ve found that creating new pathways is a very crucial process to neuro recovery.

Functional Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a technique within the scope of physical therapy where the practitioner uses a filiform needle to stimulate trigger points and treat neuromuscular pain and deficits in functional movement. It can help relax the muscles, enhance oxygen and blood flow, diminish inflammation, improve range of motion and trigger a healing respsonse.  This treatment also improves nerve communication and activates the release of your body's own natural pain relievers.  Dry Needling is appropriately indicated only after an examination and diagnosis consistent with its need.

  • Advanced Dry Needling Certified

  • Certified Kinesiotape Practioner

I graduated from University of North Texas with a BS in Rehabilitation and minor in Psychology in 2002.  I then continued my studies at the University of Kentucky (GO CATS!!!) where I received my Master’s in Physical Therapy and BS in Health Sciences in 2005.  I have been a practicing clinician for almost 17 years.  I spent my first 10 years in Skilled Nursing working in geriatrics, it was there that I found my love for the neuro population.  My last 7 years have been spent in outpatient neuro, and it is my true passion and calling.  I have met some of the most amazing, inspirational patients that have touched my heart and mean the world to me.  I have seen pain and feelings of hopelessness from families devastated by catastrophic events, and I am here to provide that hope.  I am here to work my hardest to get you to the highest level of function possible.  I have seen people struggle to get their needs met and get the therapy they so desperately need.  And now I have made it my mission to be the beacon of light to work with these patients beyond discharge, to continue their journey beyond the limits set by insurance.  I like to live by the “do the right thing” philosophy, which is choosing superior outcomes over revenue.  I want to give individuals what they need and not just what insurance allows.  I am a passionate advocate for my patients and will work hard to accomplish the goals we set out.

I am married to an amazing man, whom I met in PT school and he works in the acute setting, we have 4 beautiful daughters that keep us busy and on our toes.  I love NCAA basketball, I am super competitive in just about everything, and I love to laugh hard and often.  I am an open book and love sharing stories and learning as much as this world has to offer.
